Description:
The final round of the Sr. Dorothy’s Rolling Trophy Inter School Debate was held in the Claudine Hall at 8:30 a m. The contending teams were Vasant Valley School who were against the motion and St. Columba’s, who were for the motion. The motion for the day was “The death penalty must be abolished”. The judges for the day were Professor Sunita Singh and eminent lawyer Sharad Kohli.
It was an eminently successful event and the audience enjoyed and appreciated the arguments posed by the debaters. Sr. Janet, our Principal awarded the Rolling Trophy to the St. Columba’s team. Kamya Yadav was deemed the Best Speaker and the Second Best Speaker was won by Abir Mehta.
