On 1-04-2023, a special assembly was held to felicitate Rachel Teresa Mathew from Class XII(Batch 2022-23), has received a full ride scholarship from Wesleyan University, Georgia.
Wesleyan Open World Full Ride Scholarship includes tuition fees, lodging boarding in addition to visa fees and also a one way ticket to Connecticut USA. The event commenced with a talk by Ms. Anjali Anand Seth, Associate Vice President & Advisor to the President of Wesleyan University. It was followed by the official ceremony wherein Rachel Mathew was felicitated with the aforementioned honour.
At Wesleyan, “First for Women” isn’t just a catchphrase. It’s a way of life. Founded as the Georgia Female College on December 23, 1836, Wesleyan was the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women.
The felicitation was followed by an address of Mr. Abhishek Gupta, founder of High School Moms. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the proud and well deserving recipient.
